A mould board plough is used as a primary tillage farm implement. It is especially of use in heavily rain-fed areas where the growth of weeds is to a great extent. It pulverises and inverts the soil. Simultaneously, it gets rid of weed, crop residue and trash as it buries them below the soil. A mould board plough chops the soil and inverts it so that any trash or weed can turn into manure. It is mounted to Massey Ferguson tractors for soil preparation and seed plantation. Deep tillage of land is possible with this implement as it assists in turning the soil’s upper layer. This helps bring nutrients to the soil surface. It is often used in stony areas.
