A potato planter is easy to operate. It sows seed potatoes. It is also easy to maintain. This implement is attached to tractors to mechanise the plantation of potatoes. A potato planter uses a double sided plough body in order to form two slits in the ground. Potatoes are then dropped at regular intervals into the trench. It uses chain system cups. This machine is attached to a Massey Ferguson tractor’s three point linkage. It is an automatic planter. The potatoes are then covered over and a ridger is used for sprouting.
